Outside Sales Engineer
GEC is seeking an Outside Sales Engineer for a developed sales territory including Buffalo and Rochester.
- Selling compressors, blowers, vacuum pumps to new and existing industrial customers in the assigned territory. GEC sells in many industries including agriculture, chemical, environmental, food and beverage, medical facility construction, pharmaceutical, semi-conductor/nanotech, textile and more. Collaborate with inside sales representatives and engineers to develop quotations, analyze customer equipment needs, and handle customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with service department for start-ups and repair work. Promote all product lines authorized and distributed by GEC.
- Meet or exceed all sales goals.
- Previous industrial sales experience. Experience selling rotating equipment is a plus but not necessary. GEC is willing to train the right candidate in the specific products we sell.
- Strong mechanical/technical background (BS in Mechanical Engineering, a plus).
- Must be highly motivated and a self-starter.
- Valid drivers' license and vehicle required (car allowance provided).
Compensation is based on experience.
